Rumor has it that actor, Stephen Fry will be in the next season (series) next year. Fry may be writing a story for next year according to the BBC.

Well known for his acting roles as well as being an accomplished author and director, Stephen Fry is rumored to be part of the next season of Doctor Who in some shape or form. Fans may know him from his recent work as the "voice of the book" in the theatrical film version of Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, he had also played the lead role in the film Wilde playing Oscar Wilde whose similar wit and charm could easily lend itself to the role of The Doctor as well.
