WLIW Channel 21 New York responds!

Doctor Who NewsWLIW Channel 21 New York responds! And its positive, sort of...

I received this by e-mail on my Doctor Who inquiry:

Thank you for writing regarding the WLIW programming.

DOCTOR WHO is a program that WLIW would consider acquiring for
broadcast. However, the proliferation of cable channels means that we
would be in competition with commercial channels for the program.

Your interest is deeply appreciated and will be shared with the
    appropriate staff.

    Thanks for writing,

    Scott McClintock

I also received a reply from WLIW, mine seemed a bit more positive, but non-
commital. Perhaps if more people contacted them, especially more members,
we might get them to show it.

Of course, if other channels are pursuing it then they may not be able to
afford to outbid the commercial channels to get this program. If that is true,
then hey, we may win anyway and get to see the show. Although I would
prefer to see it on a channel without commercials or at least hopefully
without being editted down so they can show their commercials.
