Doctor Who NewsBBC Video is planning to release series one on DVD in February 2006.

It looks like the Series One Boxed Set will have a street date of February 14 in Canada. Our friends in the north have the same region 1 NTSC format as the U.S. so let the Amazon.ca orders start now!

    New Series DVDs Region 1
Authored by: Louis on Wednesday, October 19 2005 @ 12:30 AM EDT

I am guessing it will be the same as the UK region 2 release?

I was just about to purchase the region 2, PAL format disc set from the UK, so perhaps now I will hold off for the Canadian region 1, NTSC format set instead.

Still, I wish they were being released in the US domestically... I want them to be as accessible as possible.

    Cheers, Louis

Glad they are going to be released in region 1. I fortunately don't have to worry about regions any more. I have my region free dvd player so I can get all the dvds as they are released in England :-D Already have the first three and will order the fourth soon. And very soon I will go looking for Blake 7, how I miss that show.
