The segment stars David Tennant as the Doctor, Billie Piper as Rose Tyler, and is believed to take place right after the end of The Parting Of The Ways. The segment is written by Russell T. Davies.

Unfortunately, the BBC insists on using that crappy Real video format... Can't do much with that!

Which means if we really want to enjoy it, we will have to find it via other means.

Just saw the CIN mini-episode on the web. I watched the Real Media feed. The
video was about 8 minutes long. It started with the reprise of Parting of the
Ways, then went into the opening title sequence. The mini-episode then runs
until the 7 minute mark, which is then followed by appeals by the stars for
donations to the charity. I will not spoil with details, but suffice it to say, this
sets up the new season without much spoiling...

I didn't watch the Real video. I watched it via another route, at full quality.

Cute little piece. A nice bridge between the season and the Christmas Special. Not much interesting to say about it, except that it seems that Tennant really must have liked Eccleston's Doc. The differences are so far not too large between the two portrayals.

I was curious as to what Rose's reaction would be, and this certainly shows that.

Nice mini-ep. I didn't see the stars appealing for donations, though. Was it done on-set? Or in studio?

Is it possible someone archived this? I'd really like to see it. Too bad it was removed.
