The UK's Pink Paper has published the results of the Pink Paper Reader's Awards 2006 in their current issue (#891). Winning the spot for "The World's Sexiest Man" is David Tennant who had beat out other contenders David Beckham, Michael Owen, and Brad Pitt for the position. David Tennant is reported as commenting, "Iím surprised to be thought of like that." David Tennant took over the lead role in Doctor Who in 2005 and fended off a Christmas Invasion last month in his first full length outing as the Doctor.

The national gay and lesbian paper's readership survey aims to celebrate the best and remember the worst of the past year.
