At long last, the new Doctor Who section on the Sci-Fi Channel web site is now live and located at this URL address:
http://www.scifi.com/doctorwho/
First reported here weeks ago, up until Friday, February 24th visiting the section would have resulted in a 404 Not Found error page.. We are pleased to report that the new Doctor Who section is now up and running on SciFi.com just three weeks prior to the launch of the 2005 series in the channel.
Televised promos have also begun on the Channel promoting the new series at long last this week. Word is getting out on Who is coming to the Sci-Fi Channel.

We can now release our breaths and breathe a deep sigh of relief. I think that SciFi did a pretty good job on the site, I think they did a decent job avoiding the big spoilers. I can't wait to see how the campaign evolves as we get closer to St. Patrick's Day.
With the schedule updates, I believe someone at SciFi has been eavsdropping on the various boards and made the premiere a two hour event to showcase the first two episodes giving a broader taste of the series for new viewers. It is possible that they were not expecting the buzz that they have seen so far to the acquisition of the new series.
