Doctor Who NewsYou can download BBC commentaries for each episode of the new series of Doctor Who (inclusing The Christmas Invasion) in the form of a podcast.

This method is probably more convienient than using the links on the official BBC website.

Unfortunately, the BBC website has not posted a link for people to subscribe to the podcast, so I suggest using iTunes and searching for Doctor Who in the Padcast area, and I'm sure you'll soon find it...

It's well worth a listen to hear the producers of the programme (and even David Tennant) discussing how they made the individual episodes.

Hope you find this peice of news useful.

    Peace Out.

For The Christmas Invasion, after the BBC released the commentary on their site,
a fan made it available via iTunes as a podcast. Perhaps he or she will continue it
through the 2006 series? The BBC didn't seem to mind. Though the last time I
checked (sometime over the weekend, I didn't see it in that podcast feed).

    Cheers,
    Louis

If you're a Mac user, you can get the audio capture program "Audio Hijack" from rogueamoeba.com, to capture the commentary as it plays on your computer. This leaves an AIFF file on your desktop, which you can dump into iTunes and convert to an mp3 file. There are probably other programs for Mac as well as PC, this is just the one I use. A download of the full program costs $16.
