     Series One Repeats for Canada and Rob Shearman in Toronto

    Doctor Who News From July 7-9, 2006 new series writer Rob Shearman will be appearing at the TT20 convention in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Rob's Doctor Who work includes writing the Series One episode "Dalek" as well as several acclaimed audios for Big Finish including the acclaimed "Jubilee", "The Holy Terror" and "The Chimes of Midnight". At TCON Rob will be doing on-stage Q&A as well as signing autographs for fans during the weekend. Visit the TT20 website for more information.

    Starting on June 20th CBC (the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation) will be repeating the first series of the new Doctor Who with Christopher Eccleston. Doctor Who will air Tuesdays nights at 12:00am midnight across Canada (12:30 in NFLD). The first series has previously aired on the CBC during April-June 2005 and was repeated from June-September 2005. Series Two with David Tennant is planned for broadcast in Autumn 2006.     Starting on June 5th Ztele of Quebec, Canada is repeating french language versions of the first series with Christopher Eccleston. Doctor Who is running at 8:00pm (20h) on Tursday nights with repeat broadcasts at 8:00am Saturday and 3:00pm on Sunday. All times eastern. You may visit Ztele's Doctor Who website for more information. Ztele has also recetly aired a french language version of the 1996 TV Movie under the title "Le Seigneur du Temps".
