Re. the Doctor's prescience: Remember in Pating of the Ways when Rose says that she sees everything, what is, what has been, and what could be, and the Doctor replies "That's what I see, all the time!"

Best Podshock opening ever! I too am a fan of Pink Floyd and I loved hearing One of These Days used to open the show. Thank you!

Great! Who (no pun intended) would believe 2hrs 13min could pass by so quickly, and enjoyably? Where was the weekly rant?

Will Louis, Ken and James ever finish another Podshock?
... Fade to "Journey of the sorcerer".

The Cyberman bruised Jule's upper arm.

Great episode as usual. I hear that I really need to get a new microphone and record things a bit better. I sound out of breath and fading fast!

Finally had a chance to listen to show 41 this morning...another great show guys!

    A few comments...

Videos... The wholesale editing of Doctor Who VHS releases stopepd in the UK around 1991. After that there were still very minor edits here and there for various reasons but nothing big. All of the releases that had come out edited in were later re-released in unedited form in the UK but not in North America. We only received some of the new editions.

Brain of Morbius was the most edited release because rather than going back to the original tapes to compile a movie version they used a version that had been edited down for a BBC repeat in error. In the 70s several Doctor Who stories were edited down in this way for a tv repeat.

Hand of Fear came out on VHS (PAL) in 1996. It was the last release before the TVM.

Invasion... I loved the IEM 066 (International Electromatics) number plate the second I saw it in the trailer for RotC. I'm not sure what the 66 stands for but it's not the broadcast date, Invasion aired in 1968.

Doomsday...the last episode of Series Two airs July 8th, June 26th is a Monday.

    Mike
