Downloading Podshock 47 now - but wanted to add a comment on the quality and choice of Podshock 'covers' which are great.

Rose standing alone on the alternate universe beach IS the ideal image to use for the Season 2 final Podshock.

Now at soon as it's downloaded I can listen - although I'm trying to watch the British Open Golf as well - It's a tuff life being retired :-)

    Cheers, daveac

You forget the original actor returning as a companion was Peter Purves who played Morton Dill in The Chase before playing the new companion Steven Tyler later in the same story.

I believe it is 2 | entertain and BBC Enterprises that make the decisions with regards to DVD releases.

    HOLY SNIKES!!!

My goodness, let me say that that song at the end, "Rose" by Mr. Smith, yowza! That song was much, much, much better than I thought it was going to be. When you first said that you were going to play a fan produced song about Rose I felt much trepidation, but as soon as the first chords played I was most pleasantly suprised. What I especially liked about the song was that it related to certain elements and events from the series, but yet at the same time it could stand alone from Doctor Who for the casual listener unlike other "Filk" (is that what it's called???) which can usually only be appreciated by hardcore fans of the particular topic or subject.

Muchos kudos Mr. Geoff Smith and also for Mr. Louis for adding it to the show.

Also I am so glad that the issue of rating on Podshock finally got addressed. I too had similar feelings as Mr. Leonard - seemingly too many 4's and 5's dished out.
