 Amazon.com is now renting Doctor Who Video Downloads to it's US customers. Priced at $1.99 per episode similar to the Apple iTunes Music Store for television episodes, these episodes unlike the Apple iTunes Music Store can only be "rented" - in other words, they can be stored on your PC for 30 days and once you initially play it, you are limited to 168 hours to watch it before it expires. Another limitation is that it is restricted to only the Windows XP platform due to the DRM scheme they are using.
Doctor Who episodes available are from seasons 1, 5, 6, 7, 10, 12 - 16, 19, 21, 22, and 26 spanning the years 1963 through 1989.
