Unless you're a diehard Smallville fan, it may have easily escaped your noticed that actor Yee Jee Tso contributed to the fifth season of the series which explores the youth of the last son of Krypton. He appeared in a series of webcasts surrounding the episode "Vengeance".
While Doctor Who began using add-on scenes, called Tardisodes, with series 2, Smallville has been using Allison Mack's Chloe Sullivan in webcasts since 2001. The basic concept? Chloe uses her investigative skills to further explore story lines presented in a particular season. Despite having been around since the events of Season 1's "Jitters", there have been, so far, only three complete seasons of Chloe Chronicles.
Season 5's series, called the Vengeance Chronicles, looked at the lives of various Metropolis "meteor freaks" left behind by Lex Luthor when he had to clean up his image before his state senate race.
Though the main focus of the piece was Denise Quiñones' Andrea Rojas from "Vengeance", Yee appeared in the bulk of the episodes as Nick Yang, boyfriend of Season 3's computer hacker Molly Griggs. His power was the ability to control electricity, much like the classic comic character Black Lightning.
As they're not designed for delivery to cell phones, Chronicles are comparatively longer than Tardisodes, with a whole season clocking in at about 30 minutes.
