It was great to hear Mark Ayers discussing his work on the various BBC audio and DVD releases and his opinions on the new series and memories of watching the classic series. His soundtrack for The Curse of Fenric is one of my favorite discs and I believe it was one of the best of classic Doctor Who. Without that score, I think that the story would have little atmosphere. One would expect a vampire story to be shot in the dark, but budget constraints would not permit night shoots. If it wasn't for the atmospheric score, this story would be very thin indeed.
