    Doctor Who NewsThe "New Beginnings" DVD box set, featuring Anthony Ainley's debut as the Master, will be followed in the second quarter of 2007 by AInley's final performance.

    "Survival", the last regular story of the classic series, has now been scheduled for a Region 2 release on 3 April 2007.

    According to the BBC's website, the extra features are as yet mostly unannounced, but it will be the first DVD to include a fan commentary. The fan was the winner of a Doctor Who Magazine competition.

    UPDATE:

    A couple updates of note for this article: Survival has been delayed to Monday, 16th April 2007 (see: BBC - Doctor Who News - Survival delayed

    The Region 1, North American release of the DVD box set, New Beginnings Collection will be Tuesday, 5th June 2007 with a MSRP of $49.98 as reported by TV Shows on DVD. It also reports that they will be available individually to purchase as well.
