Doctor Who: Podshock Live at JumpCon Boston Update

    DW: Podshock

We regret to inform you that Doctor Who: Podshock will not be appearing live on stage this weekend at JumpCon Boston as previously announced. The reason being is as some of our listeners and visitors here on our site already know, the JumpCon Boston event has been cancelled as of yesterday.

We, like many of our listeners and fellow Ambassadors here at the Gallifreyan Embassy were looking forward to the live show and the convention itself kicking off the JumpCon tour in Boston, MA. We do apologize for this late notice, but the cancellation of the convention had just occurred yesterday.

Ken Deep, Dave "AC" Cooper, and myself, Louis Trapani had planned on being there with other long time Podshock crew, contributors, and listeners alike with the Doctor Who guests on hand for the live show as we had done before at similar venues such as this past February at the Gallifrey 19 convention in Los Angeles, CA and the annual I-CON conventions in NY. We will post further announcements about future in-person live shows here on our site and of course on our podcast, Doctor Who: Podshock.

We do want to thank everyone who helped in preparations for this upcoming live show. All of your support do indeed help to make a difference and make it all possible. Thanks to JumpCon itself for inviting us to be part of the event in the first place.

Apologies to all those that had made plans and arrangements to be in Boston for our live show. Once again, we will keep you posted on future live appearances of Doctor Who: Podshock as they are scheduled.

For more information about the JumpCon convention and future announcements on the tour, visit the website. We will keep you posted on any Doctor Who related news pertaining to it as we have been doing.

    Not surprised, but still disappointed.

When JumpCon was first announced, I didn't think there was a snowball's chance that this could be pulled off. But as the first dates became closer and closer, I started to think that it just might happen. And it's good to be wrong now and then.

Alas, the excrement appears to have hit the rotary air device.

Has JumpCon ended before it even began?

Sorry to hear this. My thoughts go out to all who were attending this and any other JumpCon.

Louis I feel for you to. As I believe you were employed by them. I hope you manage to find something else soon to pay the bills.
