    Introducing the premiere episode of
    Hitchhiker's Guide to British Sci-Fi

A new podcast covering all British science fiction. It is being previewed here on the Doctor Who: Podshock feed. While this podcast will still cover some Doctor Who material, it obviously won't be as in-depth as Doctor Who: Podshock but it won't be limited to it either.

    Hitchhiker's Guide to British Sci-Fi - Episode 1
    Running Time: 1:41:54

In this premiere episode we interview Ben Aaronovitch who not only talks about his work with new Blake's 7, but also about his work with Doctor Who. Plus we cover the new DVD release of The Tripods, DVD region coding, Jeff Wayne's War of the Worlds, a special offer from Mike's Comics, and more.

Hosted by Louis Trapani, Ken Deep, and James Naughton.

Sponsors and Promos: New England Fan Experience, Blake's 7 Audio Adventures, Doctor Who: Podshock, The Sonic Newsdriver.

There is also a very brief Doctor Who: Podshock - Aftershock episode that has been released to the feeds proceeding this new podcast. If you wish to download it manually here, below is the link:

Only listened to first half so far guys but loving it. Any chance of making a section at the end which deals with new up and coming sci-fi in the US so us Brits know what to look out for? Keep up the good work! Cheers

    Great first episode guys.

Does anyone else think Ben Aaronovitch looks like a young Blake?

    Cheers, daveac

Really enjoyed it. Good work fellas. Couldn't understand your enthusiasm for the awful "War of The Worlds" musical though.
