Thanks to the _not as bad as you made out - sound quality I actually felt like I was at a con.

In a bad seat at the back as id left the room to get something to eat.

Its a great podcast and it was good to hear PC on stage - and now I finally understand the whole - Asian Louis thing.

As somebody in the audience that day, everything except Shaun Lyon's section did sound exactly like that room with close to 1000 people in it. The reverb, the tonal shifts caused by the microphones, the odd bit of chatter from somebody near you in the seats. It was a bit surreal.

If you were recording off the wrong inputs, then we should give a tip of the hat to the Gallifrey sound people that the sound was good enough to overcome this obstacle in the first place, and a second tip of the hat to your restoration work on the sound.

Time will tell. It always does, except when it has Laryngitis.
