With regards the 'possible' guest star for Dr Who and the 'possible' part he may play - to me that part would make sence.

He even has the right 'head' for the part.

    Cheers, daveac
PS - enjoy the show - only part way in

Great episode guys, really enjoyed the interview. Although the Trial theme isn't my fave, I thought Domnic did some of the best music for the later series'. You all know my love for 'The Happiness Patrol', i'm sure! ;-)

Great podcast as always, guys -- thanks for all you do.

Ken, you mentioned you'd love to see Patrick Stewart playing a villain onscreen -- I'm assuming, then, that you've never seen the 1980 BBC video of the RSC HAMLET, in which he is the evil Claudius (the role he's reprising now opposite David Tennant!)? The bonus for DOCTOR WHO fans is that Hamlet himself is played by Derek Jacobi -- and their Ophelia is none other than Lalla Ward!

But for an even better Patrick Stewart villain onscreen, you must see him as the utterly heartless Marcus Sejanus in the BBC miniseries I, CLAUDIUS -- which of course is also full to the brim with actors we've also enjoyed on DOCTOR WHO -- including Derek Jacobi again (as Claudius), and the always-wonderful Brian Blessed as Caesar Augustus, to name only two...

    "I'm a very dangerous fellow when I don't know what I'm doing."
-- The Doctor in "Destiny of the Daleks." My favorite single line from the entire series.
