    DW: Podshock

Join us for a live recording on the internet as we review each new episode of Doctor Who. Listen live or join in the discussion for these special editions of Doctor Who: Podshock in which we will review the previous night's episode. Be warned, they may contain spoilers.

To take part in the fun, first you will need a TalkShoe ID (free at TalkShoe), or alternatively you can just listen on the website without an ID. Call into the show while we are recording by calling (724) 444-7444 (you can use Skype or any mobile or plain old telephone (phone charges may apply). Our TalkShoe ID is 23358.

We will be reviewing The Shakespeare Code on Sunday, 8th of April at 1pm EDT (US). Visit our TalkShoe Doctor Who: Podshock LIVE page for more details or schedule changes.

We hope to record a live episode each week as we review each new Doctor Who story transmitted on the BBC the night before. These live podcast episodes will be separate from our regular format podcasts as they will be dedicated to reviewing the current Doctor Who episode and will be available to listen to live or shortly after they are recorded (within 30 minutes or so, no long wait time). This way we can keep our regular podcasts spoiler free for those who have not seen the newest episodes yet, and people who have seen the new episodes don't have to wait long for our podcast review of them.

We discovered you can call for free using the Gizmo Project and connecting via SIP, simply dial out "123@66.212.134.192" and follow the voice instructions from TalkShoe.

Be sure to also see this Forum thread: Podshock LIVE for more information on how to join our live podcasts.

It may be possible to use the "chat" feature to organize the direction of the conversation... to possibly prevent long pauses and people talking over each other. Then again, that would never work on Podshock, nevermind.
