Due to the look of Kinda and Snakedance, and the slightly trippiy subject matter, alongside the publicity shyness of Christopher Bailey at the time, lots of rumours abounded that Christopher Bailey was a pseudonym for someone very well known - the suspects included Tom Stoppard and Kate Bush.
