As far as Jeff Wayne's Rock Musical of the War of the Worlds, well like all music and art, it is subjective and it may not be to everyone's taste. Just like I can't understand the enthusiasm that many have for Dr. Horrible or for that matter most mainstream musicals, which I generally loathe.
