I also agree with releasing the episodes plain and not doing post production is a good idea.
To be honest the feed for itunes that downloads the Live recordings as soon as they are recorded should be the only one the live ones are released on in my opinion. Then the main feed should be for the Studio ones with Post Production.
That way if someone doesn't like the rougher audio then they just stick with the Studio ones. After all this is all done by you as a hobby. We all like studio podcasts but there is nothing wrong (again in my opinion) with the rougher (for want of a better word) live recordings.
This would then allow more time for Studio shows and Studio post production. Also with your JumpCon gig which you get paid for Im sure the time could be better spent than trying to clean up the live shows.
As I say this is all my opinion, and whatever you do the main thing is the Embassy and Podshock will always have my support (lol if thats worth anything :D )
