There was no audio editing to the podcast, so if you listen, you will see... err... hear that we gave ample opportunity for everyone to have their input and discuss as much as they would like about Utopia... We had to steer the conversation back to it a few times. But I honestly feel if anyone had more to say about anything specific to the Utopia episode itself he/she could have done so in the podcast.
Were there points we failed to discuss or mention? I am sure there are, but that goes with all our reviews. I always find myself after the fact that I failed to point something out or mention something I wanted to discuss at the time of the recording. Sometimes I will write down points ahead of time to be sure we cover them... and in fact, I did just that with Utopia. We did cover everything that I had made a note of ahead of time. But as often the case is, there are other points that I had failed to make a note of prior to the recording and it may not had been covered in the podcast itself. As I said, it would not be the first time, nor will it be the last.
I disagree that we shouldn't speculate at all.. That is half the fun of the series. As long as we not basing the speculation on spoiler material. The format of a show like Doctor Who opens the door wide open to all kinds of speculation. But in the end, that is all it is speculation, conjecture, and guesses. We did it for three whole years after Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back... now it is just a week or so. ;o)
