I must admit I actually find these audio adventures alot more in keeping with the spirit of the classic series than the new tv series has done. Although I really like the new series and the revamp has been essential for the new demographic, for us old Whovians (fans since way back when) these audios feel much more like the shows of our youth. They even have four episodes like the old shows had, and the longer pacing and the style of story are alot more like the classic Who.
Apologies if this is considered off-topic (I'm new to these parts) but for my two pennies worth my favourites audios would have to be Spare Parts (Doctor 5), The Holy Terror (Doctor 6), Master (Doctor 7) and The Chimes of Midnight (Doctor 8).
