The BBC Video / Warner Brothers relationship was always a confusing one – I had understood it to mean that BBC Video oversaw the duplication process using Warner Brother’s labs and facilities, but that BBC Worldwide was firmly in charge (hence we never got snap-cases). Then Warner Brothers took full charge of distribution. Does anyone know more about this?
Looks like the only one loosing out now will be Warner Brothers. My guess is that about half the sets produced by Buzzworthy will be shipped south of the boarder – and I’m sure they know it – quite the windfall for this little company – I hope the quality of the discs turn out well, (and they don’t turn out like BFS Entertainment’s DVDs).
