On the subject of them looking too robotic, I suppose it might be just that they have now relegated more organic parts to the biological waste bin and replaced them with more mechnical bits.
I'd love to see a confilict between old and new Cybermen. Maybe a planet populated with 'classic' cybermen that has lost contact with the others and developed at it's own pace could be invaded by the new-wave Cybermen who wish to re-take the planet. Or then again maybe not!
