Exotron was similar in concept to I.D., which preceeded it. We had a similar situation last year with a number of prison type stories close together. Since this is the first script commissioned by Nick Briggs, I will ignore the similarities of the consecutive plays.
There are some interesting concepts in this story. It was a good story. Nothing special, but I feel that the extra storyUrban Myths by far outshone the three-parter in originality and execution. I can just imagine three stuffy Timelords sitting to a meal discussing the Doctor. For me, this seemed more like a scene from the Gallifrey series than the Unbound line, but that's splitting hairs.
