walking
the dog. It's always an entertaining listen, but I have to say that the recent
trend
of two hour shows is a bit too much for me. I know it's hard to rein
yourselves in
when you're on a roll, but I think the hour long shows did you more justice.
I'm
afraid my mind begins to wander after that! :-)
On a positive note though, the recent contributions from Russel about how
Doctor Who is broadcast and received in Canada have been fascinating.
And I have to side with Louis over Girl in the Fireplace. For me this was the
weakest of the series so far. I think it had some nice imagery but all the
elements didn't gel, in my opinon.
However, I can forget the general unevenness of this second series when
there's an episode like The Impossible Planet which, for me, was like the best
of the classic series, and had some great understated performances from the
guest stars.
All the best,
Ben
