I work in Philadelphia, PA (USA) and while driving to work this morning I stopped at a red light, turned my head and saw Cpt. Jack staring back at me. I couldn't believe what I saw: A full size Torchwood poster (BBC America) at a SEPTA (local bus company) stop. The poster had Jack in the center and the other characters around him with the tagline at the time: "Saving the world (one alien at a time)". At the bottom, was: "From the creators of Doctor Who."
Considering I've NEVER seen any Doctor Who posters in all the years I've lived in the area (36), I was a bit impressed to see that the BBC America marketing dept. was pushing TW pretty hard. Now I'm not a huge fan of Torchwood (hopefully, they'll fix the series as it's a bit lame with all the stupid sex stuff thrown in and Jack's character acts as though he's had one too many downers). But... Just to see the poster was pretty cool.
I've seen the posters on NYC buses and have heard that they wear seen on some bus shelters.
