Digital Spy says SJA's Series 2 has still not yet been given the go ahead:-

That's seems daft - surely it deserves a second season.

Just Read that SJA has been recomissioned for a second series of 24 episodes on this link from outpost gallifrey.

They have since corrected that report that it was ES stating it, and that there has yet been no confirmation from the BBC. Also, the SFX report now corrected to the belief that the 24 episode is two series worth filming back-to-back. I guess they need to keep it hush hush in the cut throat world of children's telly...

It would make sence to get the episodes made fairly quickly whilst Liz is up for the action - and also for the 2009 Dr Who lean year.
