Though the ending was a bit predictable, this was a satisfactory conclusion to this story. This series has been blessed with even writing. We haven't had any duds, nor any stories that make the rest of the series pale in comparison. I am very pleased with the caliber of these stories. All aspects of the series is excecuted on a high level. Sure, there are some points that obviously play down to a child's level, but those moments are the exceptio—not the rule. I liked the character Kudlak seeking redemption after Sarah Jane spared him.
The next episode looks to be very interesting.
As they let Kudlak go on his quest, I think it would make for a great future story block if he contacts SJ et al. for their help once he finds some of those he sent to the front.
