This episode was a little slower paced than the others and looks like a Sarah Jane - lite episode, with the focus being on Clyde. Clyde's dad returns and we have a story that focuses more on the school and the kids. It will be interesting to see the source of the alien pendant...
I liked this one. It seemed to last longer than a half-hour, and I enjoyed every minute of it.
I think the one thing I didn't like was Clyde's Dad getting the point of the device far too soon and exploiting it long before it felt right that he should.
But I liked it, and as usual, can't wait for next week.
I think the device influences you to get the point of it...
Yeah, this is the "Doctor lite" story of the SJA. It almost seemed like the father was looking for the device specifically.
I understand that Clyde was trying to impress his estranged father, but he didn't even seem to second guess himself in taking his father to see what lied in Sarah Jane's attic without the consent of Sarah Jane.

Yeah, this is the "Doctor lite" story of the SJA. [/QUOTE]
I wonder if Sarah Jane appearing in the last two eps of Doctor Who series 4 had any impact on the production of series 2 of SJA.
