Has anyone heard if S2 will get a Blu-ray release like S1?
I haven't heard as of yet, but I hope so. I guess we can assume so if the sales for S1 were good. I bought the S1 set on Blu-ray, though I still haven't had time to watch it.
Cheers,
Louis
According to a news release from Bluray.com:
BBC Announces Torchwood Season Two
Posted March 19, 2009 08:02 AM by Josh Dreuth
BBC Home Entertainment in conjunction with Warner Home Video has announced that they will bring 'Torchwood: The Complete Second Season' to Blu-ray on July 7th, day-and-date with the DVD release. All 13 episodes will be presented in high definition and be spread across four BD-50s.
No technical specs have been announced at this time.
I tweeted the news last night and meant to come here at that time and post it here as well.
According to tvshowsondvd.com the price is set at the same as the regular DVD, but they warn this could be an error as series 1 Blu-ray set was $20 more than the DVD version. They also speculate that the series 2 release date is being timed with the series 3 "Children of Earth" transmission.

Louis
