This one is much faster moving than ep2 and more enjoyable. The Doctor talking to Romana and Garron is enjoyable and they're just talking but the banter is light, filled with plot stuff, and funny. Likewise Unstoffe meets Binro, the heretic and their interplay is dramatic, interesting, and ironic and filled with warmth. In watching it now, I felt the Graff Vynda K could have been more menacing but perhaps he is in the last ep. Back when I first saw it, I felt he was quite threatening and powerful and yet now...well, he's okay, I suppose as villains go.
The one thing spoiling this ep for me, at least just a little is the Seeker. She's just too...I don't know, loud for me or something. Frankly, she's embarrassing. Glad to see K9 working with Romana and the Doctor again. A good episode but I must admit the sting of the cliffhangers just aren't as good as they once were, I supposed because the cliffhangers are not as good as they once were but who needs them when there's been so many in the past and the story is moving along.
Yet another good ep with plenty of interesting things going on, nice dialog, and some needed warmth...and for once at least for this ep, no one dies.
