Well, that was frustrating. Between not knowing how to dance, not knowing how to stop dancing, not knowing how to put hair on my head, etc. etc. I was unable to sort it out. Glad everyone else seemed to be having a good time, but it was definitely not something for this SL newbie to try attending half an hour after first installing the SL viewer...

Thanks to all that attended our Second Second Life Meet Up. It was fantastic. It was good meeting up with so many you there. Special thanks to Nik, Terry, Victor1st, HBK, Edward P (the DJ) and everyone else that helped to make it a wonderful event.

There has been such a strong positive reaction to it with everyone asking to make it a regular event. So we will do just that. Right now we are looking to make it a seasonal event -- meaning 4 times a year. We can do it again in August and then again in November-ish (to celebrate the anniversary of Doctor Who and hopefully the next special being transmitted and the anniversary of our first Second Life event), then again in February, and then once again in May of next year and just continue with that cycle.

Speaking of our first Second Life event, a special thanks goes to our own Merlin_McCarley for suggesting it back in 2006.

Cheers,
Louis
