John Barrowman appears on gameshow, Never Mind the Buzzcocks, a trendy, and not particularly family-safe, version of Name that Tune . . .

Even after all these years, no one's better at creating more humor out of breaking the fourth wall than the incomparable Carol Burnett. Here, her victim is John Barrowman:

Wish I had more info about this clip, but all I know is that it's a funny editorial piece done on BBC Four in which the commentator gives his wish list of things he'd like to have in Series Three.

Before we get into Series 3 stuff, here's a pre-"Christmas Invasion" interview which purports to be the first live interview with David Tennant prior to broadcast of his first episode. Of some interest today is his answer then to the question, "How long do you plan to be the Doctor?"

    Let Series 3 commence!

Here's the now-infamous press launch report from the BBC which includes Toothless Fan Boy. Oh, and some spoiler video.

    And the Newsround report:

Not quite new series stuff, but fun, nonetheless. David Tennant does Friday Night Project, a kinda British version of Punk'd.

The David Tennant/Catherine Tate reunion on Comic Relief.

Great videos! As a former theatre professional, I have to say that my favorite is the Carol Burnett/John Barrowman one. Thanks so much for sharing these.

I'd have to agree. That absolutely is my favorite, just because I love Carol Burnett. She's magic. A horribly underrated actor—which, given the acclaim she's received, is saying something. She is, I think, the hands-down #1 all-round American entertainer of all time, funnier even than her idol, Lucille Ball, more versatile than the top Broadway actors, and more humble than almost anyone in Hollywood. I wonder if Barrowman could convince her, and British equity laws allow her, to appear on Torchwood or Doctor Who?

Here's a month-old interview with Tennant, principally about Recovery.

Back to Series 3 coverage. Beware, there be small spoilers here . . .

    Slightly different Newsround coverage.

This one dates from "The Runaway Bride", but includes a rare-ish mainstream press outing for the ''other'' Ninth Doctor, Nick Briggs, and Cyberleader Paul Casey. It also includes some news presenters breaking a Dalek prop. It's really a press launch for Doctor Who Confidential: Music and Monsters.

Oh my God! This one's pure gold. Here's BBC Breakfast's press launch for "The Five Doctors", including Peter Davison, Patrick Troughton, K-9 and a Dalek!
