Fresh from the spoiler mill -
Just heard through the grapevine that John Simm has been seen being filmed as Saxon. And also it is rumored that the old concept of the Master being the Doctor's brother will be brought back into play early in S3. We will as usual have to wait to see how things play out.

John Simm was interviewed by Simon Mayo on Five Live this afternoon. He confirmed he is playing a character called Mr Saxon, but wouldn't be drawn on the nature of the character. "There's a lot of secrecy about it," is the only comment he would make after repeated queries from Mayo. He was attracted to the show by its writer, he said, as he tends to be with all the roles he takes.

I've been reading many rumours about the XXXXX, but they always sounded like a goof. If it is true, and it's a good story, I'd be very happy. But I'm going to reserve judgement until April 14th (or later).
