William Hartnell is not credited in Mission To The Unknown, so I wouldn't count it. There were a few episodes in the William Hartnell stories in which he doesn't appear much, or at all, because the actor was on vacation. Those I feel should count. There have been 721 "episodes" broadcast so far to date in 177 stories. And after the broadcast of Doomsday it'll be 725 in 180 stories. (That is counting Remembrance of the Daleks as two and The Five Doctors and Doctor Who: The Movie as one each.) |
