Hmmmmm. Not quite sure I've ever been so disturbed by two words in my life.

lol..yes. yes. I do remember your distaste for the character of Ace. But I have to say Sophie Aldred was an extremely sweet and funny person when I met her. Anybody who can put up talking with me for more than 5 minutes certainly deserves the title of "legendary"
Wow... What a great show. It all caught up to me last night after getting back home from my flight back to NY. I caught dinner (which was actually lunch being on west coast time and the fact that I hadn't eaten anything the exception of a muffin before leaving LAX). I couldn't help but keep zonking out on the sofa last night.
Overall, the Gallifrey 2008 experience was a great one. There were a few snafus in our plans on what we wanted to do there as to getting everyone we wanted to interview, some tech glitches on our part, scheduling, etc. But these are things that can worked out for next year.
Now that Ken and I went this year, we are now better prepared to plan for next year. Which by the way, we are already signed up for at this point.
Cheers,
Louis

Billy, I'm so glad Mind of Evil is on YouTube. I must have watched/listened to that video like a dozen times now. It's fantastic! A definite highlight this past weekend.

It will also go out on the Podshock feed as well.
We received a great deal of praise from others on it. Great job Billy!

I am finally recovered enough from Gallifrey 2008 to post. I had SO much fun this past weekend experiencing Gallifrey 2008 with my long time friend, Lanaia.
Right away we ran into Louis in the hallway and had a great conversation. We also got to meet Joan, her partner Jen and Stewart. I had a great time meeting and hanging out some with all of you. I am definitely going again next year!
I was so impressed with all the people I met that were involved in the making of Doctor WHo in some way. The cast and writers were so nice and there seemed to be such a passion about Doctor Who.
The live podcast was a lot of fun. Now that I have been to my first convention AND have finished my mission to watch all the classic Who I could get a hold of, I am ready to now actually comment during the next live podcast...LOL
Louis...you want any photos?
Joan and Stewart...I'll get some PMs out to you by the end of the week!

Sure, send what you like over.
It was great meeting up with you and Lanaia right away on Thursday. I also enjoyed meeting up with Joan and Jen. I just wish I had more time to spend with you all throughout the whole event. It seemed like we were only passing in the hallways after our initial time we spent together. It always seemed like I was rushing off to something... well, I guess I was in fact.
We will see you and everyone else again there next year. I am sure it will even be better.
Cheers,
Louis

I'm going to seriously look into going next year. It sounds like it was fun. The biggest obstacle is the fact that I absolutely despise to travel by air now. The airlines have gone down the toilet and flying is a miserable experience for me.
I'm going "Full Circle" and putting my avatar back to what it was when I first joined. :)

Had a great time this weekend. Even though the convention is small (but with a record attendance this year of just over 1000), I really loved it: the size allows you to chat with everybody, and you really have the time to do so, rather than constantly worrying about the next event you need to rush off to.
We'll have to wait and see if I can make it back next year (I'm also keeping Chicago TARDIS in mind), but I'd really like to if I get the chance.
Nice to meet you at the con Silvanthalas. I got back from LA late last night. After one of our conversations on the weekend one of the passengers on my flight back to Toronto turned out to be Rick Green from Red Green. He was flying coach. Ontario Progressive Conservative Leader John Tory was also on the flight but I suspect he's less known around here.

I have to admit to loving the Red Green show! Perhaps he was a little more fun than having Bob Costa's on a flight (as I seem to always get when leaving NYC)
