Yes, but it's British crap... a totally different quality of crap! Then again, haven't you heard of the lowest common denominator theory?
Added:
They do show the whole gamut of British programming, not just BBC stuff. There are a few gems in the lineup...
Current list of programs:
Bargain Hunt
BBC America Cooks!
BBC America Reveals
Cash in the Attic
Changing Rooms
Coupling
Doctor Who
Dumped
Eddie Izzard
Footballers Wive$
Hex

Last Restaurant Standing
MI-5
Newsnight
Robin Hood
Talking Movies
That Mitchell and Webb Look
The Graham Norton Show
Top Gear
Torchwood
What Not To Wear
Wire in the Blood

So, Doctor Who is there? So since this is tied to BBC America, I am assuming the only content on iTunes will be material already shown on BBC America. In other words, we can't expect to see Doctor Who: The Fires of Pompeii until after is shown on BBC America (whenever that may be).
Are these complete episodes or are they BBC America versions. In other words, will Torchwood be edited for content as I assume they are on BBC America or are the versions on iTunes complete episodes as they were originally on the BBC proper? Judging from the episode lengths I see on iTunes, I am guessing they are complete episodes.
By the way, I see that Torchwood is sweeping the charts on iTunes. Currently, as I write this, the two top TV seasons in the science fiction category on iTunes are Torchwood, Series 2 and Torchwood, Series 1 (yes, series 1 is there too, though I could not find it last night). Also of the top 10 TV episodes in the same category, Torchwood episodes make up 8 of them.
Cheers,
Louis |

This is great as I have a friend who needs to get the latter seasons of Footballers Wives.
I think I'll get That Mitchell and Web Look. I love that show. |

Thanks.
We will see what comes next. Hopefully, we will get more BBC material in the US store.

| I get confused by BBC America. Do the BBC actually own the channel? Many of the programmes on that list are made by ITV and Channel 4. |

No, they are not owned by the BBC... they basically are just licensing out the name "BBC" for BBC America. |
