Liz Shaw, i very much would have liked to have relations with her, and i'm not too keen on Gingers (sorry James!)
Jack Schitt
OR
Jack Harkness
lol
Just kidding:
Jack Harkness (RAF Captain, Real McCoy)
OR
Jack Harkness (51st century, egotistical, sexual deviant, con-man with two years missing, 800 different timelines, immortal and phermonal Torchwood whipping boy turned saviour?!?) |

Wow. LOL. That went over my head at first. I thought it was an actual character... one which I could not recall. So I resorted to use my 21st century memory aid (Google) and realized what the name means! LOL.
I guess I don't know Jack Schitt (now do you get it for anyone else still in the dark about it).
Cheers,

| [Quote I'm going to throw a yellow flag here. The question asked to compare only the FIRST appearance of Torchwood (that is, Torchwood 1) to the SSS. Not talking about the program Torchwood. |
|
Ooops sorry. I should have read the posting more carefully. A yellow flag!!! (is that bad?)
Still the same answer cos it would be nice to say the dastardly goings on of naughty Torchwoord.
Back to the last question: answer has to be Jack the Deviant!
Long live deviants!
Long live the most interesting male character for a long time in most sci-fi programmes! Loved the Ninth Doctor / Cap Jack snog and the fact that no one rang in to complain. Gives you some hope that the world is progressing (unlike the Eurovision Song Contest!)

'Watching all of the Eurovision Song Contestants being exterminated by Daleks' - as the contestants are already cyberfolk!
The TARDIS going into the RED vortex or into the BLUE vortex?

As we all know - it's really a Tardis PAST or Tardis FUTURE adventure - which is the choice here.

Oh, I can't recall now, which is for which... I think red is when the TARDIS is traveling in the future, right?
My answer is the future, whichever colour that may be because it there is a greater chance that it will be an off-world (non-Earth) adventure. Even if it is Earth's own future, it could be a space station around the planet or so far off in the distance that Earth might just as well be another world. Though I suppose the same could be said about the very distant past as well -- but as long as it is not another Gum adventure.
Since we are on a colour kick. Which scarf? The multi-color scarf (your pick) that 4th Doctor wore originally or the mono-tone burgundy one he had at the end of his regeneration?
Cheers,

| The original, iconic scarf definitely. That burgundy one was lovely and all, but you can't beat the novelty of that very first one. |

DT's specs, gives him geek chic bona fides! Even though he looks like Jarvis Crocker.
Though, PD's "brainy specs" have a nice charm.

Has to be the walking stick. The question marks were one of the worst things to ever happen to Doctor Who. Believed to be Post-Modern and Intelligent they were actually Patronising. So there!
