There's Chicago TARDIS in November and Gallifrey (LA) in February as the two big ones in the US... No doubt there are other cons that have Doctor Who guests or events, but these are the major predominantly Doctor Who-themed cons |

There is meant to be a new US based convention this year in Florida at Halloween called Hurricane Who here
I take it we are only talking about the US. There are obviously plenty of UK based ones like The oncoming Storm (June 14th), Bad Wolf (12th/13th July) and Dimensions (15th/16th November)
EDIT: fixed double "http://" in link—Taras |

Dimensions (as mentioned by Whoovie) looks really good for early Classic series fans.
I'm going to that one.
Frazer Hines, Deborah Watling, Wendy Padbury, Louise Jameson and Nicholas Courtney are all in attendance.
As is always the case with 10th Planet - it isn't particularly cheap though. £70 for both days.
It's in Newcastle (in NOrth East England). |

hmmm, perhaps I should head to England instead of Paris for my birthday (Nov 16) just so I can go to this convention.... wonder what the partner would say to that (he not being into Who). Especially since it looks like the Jumpcon I was going to go to in Coralville IA now says its changing locations -- AND the hotel cancelled my reservation without my asking today.... seriously what's up with that? |

And to clarify, I believe Orlando Florida's Hurricane Who is in October of 2009. So we have quite awhile to plan.
We need a Doctor Who convention somewhere in the summer to balance out the year here in the US. --Billy |

| Timegate is at the end of May in Atlanta, GA. They have Louise Jameson (Leela) as their Doctor Who guest in 2009. http://www.timegatecon.org/. |

Has anyone been to Timegate? Im wondering how it compares to Chicago Tardis.
Louis Jameson is going to be at Orlando's Hurricane Who con in October 2009 so Id need a different guest at Timegate to get me to attend - someone like Frazier Hines. --Billy |
