Does anyone know whether Series 5 will move from Wales? Presumably BBC Wales will still be producing it but does that mean it will remain based in that country?
I always sort of got the impression that it was RTD that made sure it was filmed there. So far as I know location and studio filming is no cheaper in Wales than anywhere else in the UK.
I'm not saying it needs to be moved, especially considering the skill base of four years is there, but maybe SM will want a new look to the show and new looking locations will help (unless he moves series 5 away from Earth altogether). |

There was a pretty sizable investment in the studios to house the Doctor Who franchise in Cardiff. I pretty much doubt that the production will move anytime in the near term. |
