Still haven't quite gotten over it yet 
Spent the weekend with my Time love brigade angsting and wailing and other such fangirlly stuff so I think I'm okay now.

Romana II,
Think of it this way, once David Tennant leaves the role (which is still another year away), he will be released from his restrictions from appearing at conventions. You might have a chance to see him in person at a convention... you will be able see and touch him in person perhaps.

Now I like the idea of having DT at Gallifrey 21 maybe. But I have been having to talk my son and other friends down for the past week. The general sadness is becoming a virus with too many.I think with the new popularity this regeneration is upsetting more then any other. From a personal viewpoint I was hoping he would would beat TB's record.
Also I wouldn't have a problem with him being wheeled out of the TARDIS at a rather old age.  |

If we ever does Gallifrey or another American convention, I will make sure I'm there... never mind the $2500 airfare price I'm going.
I was highly thinking of attemping to go to Gallifrey 20 for Gareth David Llyod, but there was no way in heck I could afford the airfare at the moment.
But when I do eventually go, I'm sure I'll have a floor to sleep on 
I know this regeneration is upsetting me, because David is my first doctor and I've never experienced a regeneration first hand the way many other fans here have.
I became a fan mid way through 2006, and I know alot of new fans who became fans during Tennant's run so for a alot of people, this regeneration is going to be upsetting and hard.
Just think of the first time you saw the Doctor change, that's pretty much how alot of us new fans are feeling now.
But we'll get over it.... eventually. |

I'm hoping to re-review the rest of series 4 soon and I also recorded another brief show on the train with Katherine that'll appear in a later show.

The latest article on Outpost gallifrey states that Terry Wogan (the presenter of Children in Need) has hinted that the new Doctor might be announced on this year's Children in Need special.
If this is true then it's much sooner than I would have thought. I believed that they'd be milking this for months! |
