To all going to Gallifrey - I can't stress this enough, please ensure you make time to go and see Toby Hadokes fantastic one man show, "Moths Ate My Doctor Who Scarf", even if you've got the CD still go and see it live! I have had the pleasure of seeing the show live 3 times as well as having the honour of meeting Toby after two of those shows for a drink. The show is superb and Toby is a complete Gentleman, it would be fantastic to hear him on a future Podshock if you guys are able to interview him.

The only thing that could stop us from seeing Toby's performance is those Iron bars called 'Happy Hour' that wont let us out of the bar.

Hey Jay,
Im now your biggest fan. Thanks for saying that about The Mind of Evil song. The only way that could be done properly live is for someone to do a Roger Delgado impersonation. I could see the master as a rock star singer - couldnt you?
Hey an "all Who" band that's a great idea!!!
Craig were gonna miss you this year. It should be even more fun than last year. Yeah Ive been thinking about San Diego Comic con but with my discovery of Chicago Tardis and the coming Hurricane Who and my cant miss DragonCon (8 years in a row) every year - Im just about maxed out. --Billy |

My pleasure! On the drive home from last year's Gallifrey, I kept singing it out loud. Of course, I could only then remember the chorus, so I kept repeating it over and over again. I drove my sister nuts. It's a kick-ass song.
Delgado's Master was a total Rock Star. He would have fit in perfectly with the British glam/heavy rock period of the early 70s. |

Hi, my name is Neal and this is my first time posting in the forums. I live in Silicon Valley.
I have been listening to Podshock since Series 2 started airing.
I will be attending Gallifrey, and would love to hook up with any other podshock listeners. I've already registered and booked the hotel, and just have to finish up with my airline flights.
Quick question. What times do events usually start on Friday and how late do they run on Sunday? I don't believe that they have posted a schedule at Outpost Gallifrey yet.

If I recall correctly from last year, I believe things started at 11am on Friday, though the opening ceremony was later (perhaps 2pm). I believe the closing ceremony was at 5 or 6 pm on Sunday.
All times PST of course. Again, just going by memory which isn't as good as it was in my earlier incarnations.

If there is enough interest, perhaps we should plan some sort of Doctor Who: Podshock gathering or party. It's quickly approaching. I still have to book my flight as well.

Hey Neal welcome and it'll be great to meet you at Gallifrey.
Yes Louis is correct in the times of start and finish - That's what I recall. It's good to know to plan your travel accordingly - you wont want to miss a second.
Yes, Louis we will be having some Podshock Gatherings as per Josh and my converstaion on these boards last year following the con. We'll set up the details a few weeks before the con starts. It'll be fun to get a group of Podshock listeners all together at gallifrey.
