I just listened to Memory Lane (#88 in the monthly Doctor Who range). I was not expecting much based on the trailer on the Big Finish site. But after hearing the story I felt that it was really well done and the plot and its resolution make complete sense after starting with an absurd situation. It ranks well with the best stories of the year, and we get a few more hints about C'rizz in this story. Any issues I may have with the story are very minor, and do not in the least effect my enjoyment of it.

The cast being stuck in a strange location from which they can't escape reminded me of "The Chimes of Midnight". Gonna have to listen to the very end again. Lately I've been keep listening to the BF stories late at night to help me relax and I keep falling asleep before I get to the end - not through boredom, simply because they seem to be too good at helping me relax.  |
