[Quote by: daveac] Well Episode 13 certainly linked back to Utopia!
Cheers, daveac
Something we have been speculating about ever since Utopia. So no big surprise... But at least they cleaned things up a bit for the resolution of this story (Utopia) now.
Cheers,
Louis

Earlier tonight I watched 'Utopia' again as it was showing on BBC Three (in the UK)
This really is a good story - the way they intercut between Jack and the Doctor talking and Prof. YANA reacting to all the mentioning of time travel etc. was excellent.
It was also of of Martha's best outings - back to the promise of 'Smith & Jones'
Cheers, daveac

This post is referring to Podshock 91, where in the interview with Paul Cornell he references a YouTube video of some girls watching the big Master reveal in Utopia. Does anyone know what video this is? Anyone have a link? I just did a brief YouTube search, but didn't find it right away.

I'm going "Full Circle" and putting my avatar back to what it was when I first joined. :)

I started watching that one during my search. It was cracking me up. I stopped during the, "Go on, I'll wait" part, planning to come back and watch the rest.

That was funny. That's about how I was when I was watching it, but less girly.

I've never really been into the whole blog thing (written, video, or otherwise), so I got bored with this very quick (but, again, that's just me). So I ended up skipping ahead 30 seconds or so at a time through most of it, and fortunately got to the part where she says she didn't like S3 as much as 1 or 2, and that part I could understand fine.

This is hilarious. They've got the passion of the Star Wars kid and the intensity of that angry German kid playing the PC game rolled into 1 (or 2 in this case). Any chance they're registered forum members here on The Gallifreyan Embassy? Come on...fess up if it's you.
Anyway, good find. And on a similar note, this might actually be a good experiment to try with Podshock. Louis, Ken, and James should pick an episode of Series 4, get it set up like they're doing a normal Podcast, get their S4 episode videos sync'd (sunk?) together and basically do a running commentary as it happens. Don't watch it in advance, so they don't know what to expect. I think that'd be an interesting variation to the normal podcasts.

That sounds similar to something I heard about not too long ago, homemade commentary tracks for movies/TV/etc. I love the idea, but have never actually found and downloaded any or tried making any. But a Ken-Louis-James commentary track to download and play while watching an episode, or a video like this one would be very entertaining.

Yeah it's kind of like the commentary tracks that others do, but with those I think they usually watch the episodes (several times) and then do the actual recording, knowing what's going to happen in each scene coming up. My suggestion would be to do it like the girls from the YouTube video and have the Podshock guys all be watching it for the first time while doing their commentary. I'm not saying do it everytime, but it might be fun to try once and see how it goes.

I think there was a commentary for one of the Christmas specials done by the Podshock crew.

What a great video - the confidence these young people have - it's great!
All power to her.
