I'm personally thrilled by this news. Sounds like they're really aiming to finally play around with one of the main dynamics of the show since the return in '05, and that's very exciting to me.  |

WOW! I don't know how accurate it is but - WOW!
Tennant has been a fantastic Doctor, and a 3 season stint is kind of what people expected.
The missus will be hapy about Martha leaving.  |

Never believe anything in the press. Martha is not actually leaving only being mickey-ized. Hey, perhaps Sally Sparrow could be the new companion or failing that Lucy Saxon (in her red dress) or even Tish.
If Kylie is the new Romana rather than the Rani, she could accompany the Doctor on his travels. This would give him a valid reason for dumping Martha in preference of a remaining fellow Timelord.
If we were really fortunate Sarah Jane could rejoin the Tardis crew.

I doubt we'll see any more timelords. At least not under RTD. I assume Kylie will be playing a passenger on the Titanic. |

We'll see! According to legend, the Titanic sunk because it hit an iceberg not a TARDIS. Though confusion may have occurred because an iceberg is also something which is much bigger than it appears to be at first sight. |

I love Tennant, I love RTD, I'll be sad to see them go, but at the same time the thought of that does get me excited too.
Doctor Who has always been a show defined by its willingness to change and reinvent itself, and it'll be fascinating to watch that happen again.
