Hopefully he's just "future proofing" the commentary. So in ten years time when he's no longer the Doctor and we're on Doctor number 12 (played by Shane Richie) or Doctor number 13 (Rob Schneider) the commentary will still sound contemporary.
Personally I hope Tennant goes for a Pertwee and does 5 seasons. I love 'im.
Also, more importantly, I hope I'm wrong about Doctors twelve and thirteen. |

David Tennant is on the commentary track of the new re-release of The Five Doctors? That's interesting. I guess there's not many of the original 5 Doctors in this anniversary story that could do a commentary on it today outside of Davison.

Actually that is the "easter egg" commentary.
It features David Tennant, Phil Collinson and Helen Raynor.
It has both versions of the story, the original transmission with Lis Sladen, Mark Strickson, Nick Courtney and Carole Ann Ford on the mic and the special edition ie the original DVD release with the original commentary from Peter Davison and Terrance Dicks.
