No, it means that RTD has given an interview in which he's stated that the name of UNIT is now "Unified Intelligence Taskforce" instead of "United Nations Intelligence Taskforce". However, the official BBC UNIT site still alludes to the United Nations, and still spells the acronym "U.N.I.T.", which would be inconsistent with "Unified". It remains to be seen whether there will be an actual, onscreen name change.

I had read that, and admittedly my first response was "what? did you use the wrong name?" My second thought was that the UN refused to allow the copyright on their name to be used for Doctor Who (too many lawers, you know)
